Appliqued Grapes

These are Celtic Crosses with Rain drops. Fabric changes their appearance.

Methodist Cross

These are Celtic Triskeles. The Thread changes their appearance.

The fire is to represent the Holy Spirit particularly in the images of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit is always with you and is always alive and burning.

The hills are nature and creation. Jesus always used images from his natural surroundings to illustrate the nature of the Kingdom of Heaven. Ordinary grapes and wheat become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.

The water and sky are representative of God moving over the  waters of the void in the beginning of creation. Those waters represented by the  drops are the ones that are used for our baptism and by which we are born in to the  family of God.
